Do you like fantasy? How about lesbians? Perhaps a little erotic content, too? Yes? Well, have I got good news for you!
I wrote a fun little fantasy book a couple of years back called The Goddess Returns. It features all of the above, plus a healthy dose of adventure and humour, all set in a low fantasy world (no elves, orcs, etc), and I’m giving it away for FREE!
Why am I doing this, you ask? Simple: because I want more people reading my work, and what better way to do that than by giving something away? But more than that, I also wrote this novelette-length book with the view to potentially writing sequels. Take a guess what I’m doing right now? Yep.
So what’s the book about? It’s a fantasy adventure story set in a land called Lafaire, following two young ladies on what is meant to be a fairly routine trade run from the city where they live, around the coast to Lafaire’s capital city. En-route to their destination they are shipwrecked on a mysterious island, where a certain naughty goddess has just reawakened after a century of slumber…
This first book is a fun little adventure that sets the stage for something larger, and I’ll be writing all subsequent parts in a similar manner; around 14,000 words apiece, with a mini-arc per book that ties into the larger narrative of a princess on the run and the return of the goddess of lesbian liaisons, Sephila.
If you need any more reason to grab it, beyond it being short and free, here’s a five star review from Amazon US to whet your appetite:
I loved this little book! It reads like a classic adventure tale with lush descriptions and polished prose. Although it takes a couple of chapters to get to the sexy stuff, once it does, it steams up mightily and had me grinning all the way to the finish.Scarlett Knight | ☆☆☆☆☆ Amazon US Review
I hope you enjoy this naughty little tale, and keep an eye on the site here, as book 2’s first part will be coming in the very near future!
Lily Lancaster writes mostly lesbian fiction in sci-fi and fantasy flavours, but she also spends far too much time talking about anime, games, life, and anything else she fancies. Sometimes she manages to actually write a book or two.
