Hey there, I’m Lily Lancaster, and I write mostly female-oriented fiction, almost always with lesbian (or yuri, if you’re into the Japanese scene like I am) elements. Sometimes this takes the form of overt romance or even erotic scenes, and sometimes it’s more of a background element or B-Plot.
That said, let’s talk about what I write, and what you’ll receive if you stick around here and check out my content. First of all, I tend to focus heavily on sci-fi, fantasy, and other genre fiction, with the aforementioned lesbian elements. I also love Japan and Japanese culture, and a lot of my writing is influenced by these interests. I write mostly 18-25 year olds, given the erotic nature of some of my works, and have occasionally been accused of YA as a result. This is depressing, but not surprising 😂
I also write genre mashups similar to what you’d find in anime and manga. For instance, I’ve got a sci-fi, post-apoc, lesbian Wild West adventure novel in the works (albeit a long way off done). Then there’s my insanely huge, Japanese-style, idol-focused series, titled Starlight Dreamers, set in a positive future sci-fi world (did I mention that I enjoy genre mashups?). You can find that over on Patreon at the $5 tier.
The first big Starlight Dreamers collection, which totals around 100,000 words, is free to read (link on Patreon, see above link) to get an idea of what to expect from the series. Check it out and see if you might like to support me in my efforts to complete this truly epic undertaking (seriously, it’s currently six full collections and closing in on three quarters of a million total words – yeah, I might be insane).
On the subject of Patreon, patrons always get new content before it goes public here on the site. If you like to be more directly involved, have a direct line to me, and to hear about new works in advance, plus behind the scenes content and other goodies? Patreon is the place to be!
I release my works mostly for free here on the site and am currently focusing on shorter, standalone stories that are easy to pick up and read in an afternoon, though I do write serials as well. Eventually I might also package up some short story collections for Amazon, but until then you can simply read them for free here on Lilycoven.com.
I hope you’ll find something fun to enjoy, and stay tuned for more!
